In the 1100s, a stranger washes into a Japan sliding toward war. Raised by a master of the sword, he carries two things across a kingdom of tolls, taxes, and castles: a sealed letter that can expose the conspiracy — and a code. Protect the innocent. Tell the truth. Never sell your soul.
Every episode, the road tests that code. Men he spares return as brothers. Enemies built on hatred fall to discipline. And inside the messenger's token he carries, seam by hidden seam, the letters of a name no one has spoken — his own.
Three feature episodes are complete — each one a film, and a playable game where the story is watched first, then decided: your thumb is his hand on the sword.
He spares a fallen enemy, returns a village's stolen rice, and duels Lord Kageyama at the castle gate. Kageyama escapes — swearing to return with an army. The letter must reach the Shogun.
Ren — the spearman he spared — returns to serve him. Against General Bando, the Toll Lord, the stranger learns the thumb-draw, frees Haru's son, and opens the token: three letters of a lost name.

The Pure Blood Clan rings its bell for every family driven out — and the thirteenth ring is a death ring. He answers hatred with strength, honor, and restraint… and offers the fallen enforcer his hand.
The Shogun's case file, castle by castle. Every piece of evidence the stranger gathers is filed here — proof, carried on foot, that the conspiracy is real.
Where the letter began. Lord Kageyama's duel at the gate ended with an escape — and a promise of an army.
General Bando, the Toll Lord, taxed every road and river for the war. His gold seal and ledger are in the file. His prisoners walk free.
The Pure Blood Clan's bell rang twelve times for the driven-out. The thirteenth ring never fell — the village rang it themselves, together.
His true name is never spoken. One fragment is revealed each episode — carved inside the token he has carried since before memory. When the last seam opens, the series ends. Until then, the road calls him only the stranger.
